Eastgrid, established in 2025, is a Digital Mapping Service specialising in Event mapping.
Jon has more than 25 years experience in Marine Navigation plus over a decade in site surveying / mapping. Almost two decades of practical Traffic Management experience bring an added layer of safety to mapping events. Aerial imagery will be updated for events if needed. The type of event and end user will be discussed leading to the most suitable maps.
Jon holds a BSc in Nautical Science, a BSc in Police Studies, UCPD in Forensic Road Collision Investigation, a level 7 Certificate in Health and Safety and a Level 8 Certificate in Digital Mapping and Geographical Information Systems. He is passionate about road safety and how effective planning and event mapping can contribute to a safe and successful event.
In his spare time, Jon volunteers as Sea Going Crew at his local RNLI station, he holds an additional role as Health & Safety representative for that station within the RNLI. He is a member of his local Community First Responder group. Jon also holds certificates in Advanced Cardiac First Response and an STCW 95 in Elementary First Aid.
