Eastgrid, established in 2025, is a Digital Mapping Service specialising in Event mapping.
Jon has more than 25 years experience in Marine Navigation plus over a decade in site surveying / mapping. Almost two decades of Traffic Management experience bring an added layer of safety to mapping events. The requirements of the customer will be discussed for digital maps with the correct data to suit any type of event.
Jon holds a BSc in Nautical Science, BSc in Police Studies, UCPD in Forensic Road Collision Investigation, and a Level 8 Certificate in Digital Mapping and Geographical Information Systems. He is passionate about road safety and how effective planning and event mapping can contribute to a safe and successful event.
In his spare time, Jon volunteers as Sea Going Crew at his local RNLI station, he holds an additional role as Health & Safety representative for that station within the RNLI. He is a member of his local Community First Responder group. Jon also holds certificates in Advanced Cardiac First Response and an STCW95 in Elementary First Aid.
